Dr. Solano, Head of the Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery Unit at Quirónsalud Zaragoza Hospital, was one of the first surgeons to perform laparoscopy techniques to treat morbid obesity.
His unit performs all kinds of procedures linked with obesity; currently it one of the most experienced units in Spain and one of the first in the world to treat and control type 2 diabetes through metabolic surgery, having operated on over 600 patients, with very encouraging results.
